Tea is known to be a good anti-oxidant and a good appetite suppressant. These reasons are probably the reason why tea is being marketed as weight loss products. The truth is tea can be a good supplementation to a weight loss regimen but in its self, tea will not let you lose a lot of weight especially if you continue to consume excessive amounts of calories.
The good thing about tea is it is completely natural and safe to consume so you have nothing to lose should you decide to try it. Just make sure that you try the herbal teas that have no other added components that could be dangerous to your health.
Some manufacturers formulate their tea to induce purging or vowel movement and this is not a good way to go about weight loss. It is unhealthy because there’s a tendency for the dieter to become dehydrated, lose lean muscles instead of fat and suffer from nutritional deficiencies.The best way to lose weight is still to eat just enough calories and to increase your physical activity to increase your metabolism. When you drink tea and live a healthy lifestyle then you will really lose weight. And you will lose weight in a healthy way.
