Behavioral management supplemented by hypnosis increases the success of the weight loss regimens. Hypnosis also needs to be practiced on a regular basis for it to be effective. Often clients are able to continue with their hypnotism sessions. There are no instant cures to obesity, not even hypnosis. Hypnosis also does not result in dramatic weight loss. At most it can only help a dieter lose moderate weight.
